Myth

An international café concept where each location draws inspiration from a country's folklore, myths, cuisine, and visual traditions. Through interior design, packaging, illustrations, and storytelling, each café develops its own unique identity and atmosphere.

Welcome to Myth Japan!

The inspiration for Myth came from my exchange semester in Japan, where I developed a deeper appreciation for Japanese culture, folklore, and traditions. I became particularly fascinated by yokai, supernatural creatures from Japanese folklore, and how history and mythology continue to influence modern life. Combined with my interest in travel and café culture, Myth was born.

The goal of Myth is to communicate culture through experiences. The concept is aimed at people who are curious about different cultures, enjoy travelling, or want to discover new flavours, stories, and surroundings in their everyday lives.

Myth is designed as a global café concept, with each location celebrating a different country and its unique culture. Each café has its own identity, atmosphere, and dedicated social media presence, allowing each location to tell its own story while remaining part of the larger Myth universe.
